Estate Plan
From The Muniment Room, a resource for social history, family history, and local history.
The Estate Plan was the standard plan of the Estate used with documents such as terriers and rentals, in which each parcel of land was assigned a unique number. For convenience, the Muniment Room uses as default the final Estate Plan, which was in use by the 1870s. Earlier plans, such as those by Whitcher and Salmon, used their own unique numbering.
